generalThis is an excellent property offering 4 star accommodation and facilities in a beautiful, quiet part of Amsterdam yet only 5 minutes by tram or a 20 minute walk to the heart of the city. With the numerous shops, restaurants and bars in the immediate vicinity of the hotel, this property comes highly recommended. jg/07/2010
lobbyCheck in can be found next door at the main entrance to the hotel and this area has been completely refurbished with iths "trendy" swing chair, booth style seating and modern lounging atmosphere.
exteriorThis is a traditional building in keeping with the surroundings of the neighbourhood which consists mainly of private homes and apartments.
restaurantThis breakfast room is located on the lower ground floor in a light and airy ambience benefitting from large windows with views over the tree lined street at the backside of the hotel. There is also a bar offering snacks on the first floor with a terrace that again offers views of the tree lined street behind the hotel.
roomsThe executive rooms are located in an annexe next to the main hotel and offer much larger accommodation, a desk and chair in all rooms and a sofa bed. Along with the bathrooms, they are in very good condition.
locationThis hotel is located on the very fashionable Koninginneweg in the south part of Amsterdam, fairly close to the Museumplein and Leidseplein with its Holland Casino and just a stones throw from one of the entrances of the delightful Vondel Park.
