Independent Report
locationThis hotel has a prime location in the heart of Amsterdam, located close to the Ferdinand Bolstraat with its many shops, cafes and bars. It is around the corner from the world famous Albertcuyp Market, and the Heineken Brewery and also from the very trendy Pijp district. With one of Amsterdams famous tram stops on its doorstep, it is also only a short tram ride away from Central Station, Dam Square, and the Flower market
roomsThe bedrooms are fairly basic but clean and very bright and all rooms have private shower facilities and a window. There are televisions in all the rooms but a supplement is payable for the usage of the tv. There is also a supplement required for wifi and whilst the rooms are clean upon check-in, a supplement must be paid for every day that you want the room to be cleaned. This is a unique concept in Amsterdam but means that the hotel is able to offer value for money in a city centre location
restaurantTheir is no restaurant and the hotel does not serve any breakfast although there are many restaurants near by. The hotel does have a vending machine in the lobby
exteriorThis is a very modern, purpose built hotel which greatly resembles an office block
lobbyThe lobby is small and pretty unassuming
generalThis is a unique, no-frills hotel offering small but compact rooms in the vibrant Pijp area of the city. Its concept is that you pay for any extras that you use, but in the case of this hotel, this will include use of the television in the room, use of wifi, use of the luggage room and for cleaning of the room, all of which come with a supplement and are not included in the room rate. Having said that, this is still a great find in the heart of the buzzy city centre
pleasenotePlease note that the room rate does not include the following, which is payable on the spot at the hotel: Use of television Use of wifi Use of luggage storage room Daily cleaning of the room
