This hotel has a lovely location in a residential part of Amsterdam, close to the Vondel Park and the upmarket Old South part of Amsterdam, with its boutiques, restaurants and tree lined avenues.
rooms
The bedrooms are small and basic but have all the amenities one would expect from a 3 star hotel, including flat screen television and ensuite bathroom. Although not as modern as some other 3 star hotels, they still offer excellent value for money
restaurant
The hotel only has a small breakfast room due to its prime location close to many superb eateries and this may be found on the ground floor, at the back of the hotel. It is fairly small but functional.
exterior
The property is a traditional building and in keeping with the other grand buildings in the area
lobby
The lobby is very small and consists of the reception area but is warm and inviting.
general
This is a great hotel with an off the beaten track location, but still close to all attractions and amenities that Amsterdam has to offer, and with the park and fashionable Old South on its doorstops, is and excellent hotel for those who want to be near the centre but away from the hustle and bustle
