On account of its history, this hotel is one of the most famous in the country. There is a private beach for clients and the hotel is only a few minutes' walk from the Kings Palace. (06/08 ME)

The lobby is large with casual seating provided. Finished in marble, the lobby is bright and airy.

The hotel is in a large block building, facing the sea on a small peninsular.

The restaurant is pleasantly furnished in traditional style and serves a good standard of both international and local cuisine.

The rooms are of a good size and have been carefully and attractively decorated. All offer a good standard of accommodation.

This hotel is located inside the Palace of King Farouk, commonly known as Montazah Palace. It is about a 10-minute drive to the town centre. The area is one of the most affluent parts of the city and the hotel was originally built to accommodate the kings and presidents of all Arab countries for an Arab Summit Meeting.
