The lobby is large, and very welcoming with its traditional style. It is surrounded by a sitting area. A large stone staircase leads to the first floor.
exterior
Imagine the early 14th century mill, admire the mansion extended and embellished in 1772, the building is a castle newly restored in 1991. The building is surrounded by a courtyard or small private garden. The two wings of the Mansion shelter the fountain of the main courtyard decorated with vases. There is a four hectar park that invites guests to beautiful walks.
restaurant
The restaurant is listed in the prestigious Michelin and Gault & Millau guide books. The cuisine will delight you with harmonious and surprising flavours by mingling the native tang with a gourmet expertise. In the warmer months meals can be taken on the large terrace under shades of the trees.
rooms
The rooms vary in size from medium to large. Each room will delight you with its charm and nobility and opens either onto the main courtyard or on a small courtyard or on a small private garden. Both rooms and bathrooms are in good condition.
location
The hotel is five minutes from Aix en Provence city center and is close to the river l'Arc. A mill, le moulin de Verdaches was known to have occupied this site in 1303.
